PURESIMPLE
I started Puresimple in August 2008 on a whim. A friend gave me a book on soapmaking and after reading a few chapters I was interested enough to go out and buy the basic ingredients and make a batch. It was such fun that I decided to make some more which were duly dished out to family and friends. After about a year of playing around, testing and researching I felt confident enough in myself and my product to start selling and was accepted as a trader at the newly opened Earth Fair Market. I started out just making plain bars of soap and slowly but surely added decorative swirled soaps, body creams and lotions as well as household cleaners. Even though Puresimple is way bigger than when it first started I still hand make everything according to my tried and tested recipes.

PURESIMPLE PRODUCTS
Puresimple specialises in handmade pure vegetable oil based soaps and household cleaners. The BATH range has been specially formulated to be mild and gentle on the skin whilst the HOUSEHOLD range has been formulated to clean thoroughly but gently. All products are handmade and, where possible, ingredients are sourced locally to minimise the carbon footprint and to support environment friendly principles. All finished products are biodegradable and contain no artificial additives, synthetic surfactants, cosmetic fragrances, paraben-type preservatives, mineral oils or petroleum based ingredients. Packaging has also been specially sourced to ensure that it is biodegradable and/or recyclable.
